Radical Jewelry Makeover is coming to Kansas and Missouri! RJM, in collaboration with Missouri State University (MSU) and the University of Kansas (KU), is seeking donations of old, unwanted jewelry for a community jewelry mining project taking place in Springfield, MO, and Lawrence, KS, this fall.
Jewelry students at MSU and KU, along with professional jewelers from the regional community, will then transform these donations into radically fresh and responsible jewelry. The revamped creations will be exhibited and available for sale in Springfield and Lawrence in early 2025. For more info, check out RJM’s website by clicking the image above or the button below.
Members interested in participating — First fill out the form below confirming your interest. Be sure to consider whether you’d like to come to the sorting event at KU or you’d prefer for Louise to pick up materials for you. I’ll send out more info to interested participants, but below are some details.
