We are excited to invite you on a 2 hour docent tour of the Toy & Miniature museum to view both floors of the museums displays—including an exhibit featuring work by Alloy’s very own Kelly Conner!
Over the summer, The Museum invited artists within a 60-mile radius of Kansas City to submit up to three small visual artworks to be considered for a juried exhibition in the Museum’s newest gallery. 2D and 3D submissions of any media and concept were welcomed, but objects could be no larger than 12x12x12”.
Kelly Conner’s miniature silver Stanley Cup was selected by jurors to be displayed in the exhibit. The museum interviewed Kelly about her experience participating in the project. Check out the video here >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7Fl5oHkhck
A little bit about the museum: Opened in 1982, the Toy & Miniature Museum boasts the world's largest collection of fine-scale miniatures and one of the nation's largest collections of antique toys on public display!
